Thief forces car window, left slightly down, to steal GPS

A GPS navigation system has been stolen from a car in Hervey Bay.

A police spokesman said the GPS was stolen from a vehicle at the marina.

While the car was locked, the windows had been left slightly down, the spokesman said.

This was all that the thief needed, forcing a window down lower and stealing the GPS.

Anyone with any information is encouraged to phone Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
