Discover Fraser Coast app released to promote tourism

A FREE smart phone application has been released to show off the Fraser Coast.

The Discover Fraser Coast app is available to both Android and iPhone users and includes details for hundreds of interest points, maps and discounts for users, the Fraser Coast Regional Council said.

Users can also choose to follow one of 12 'trails' to follow, such as fishing, markets, museums and others.

The phone app also includes an Around Me function to find the closest dining, accommodation, attractions and tours.

The council said people could also use the app to access a number of exclusive deals just for phone users and find and scan special codes located at key points of interest around the region to unlock a number of rewards - from free entry to museums and attractions to small mementoes.

To download the app, visit ourfrasercoast.com.au/phone-app.
