Dan and Steph Mulheron will host a cooking demonstration at Maryborough's Relish Food and Wine Fest next month.

THE Fraser Coast's kitchen superstars will share their culinary secrets with visitors to this year's Relish Food and Wine Fest in Maryborough on Saturday, June 8.

Hervey Bay couple Dan and Steph Mulheron cooked their way into Australia's hearts when they were crowned the winners of the hit TV show 'My Kitchen Rules'.

The pair will now be wowing crowds closer to home when they host a one-hour cooking demonstration with fresh regional produce and a meet and greet at the Fraser Coast's premier food and wine showcase.

The first 200 people to pre-purchase tickets will be treated to VIP seating at the star couple's cooking demonstration.

"We've been overwhelmed by the support we've received, especially from people on the Fraser Coast," the couple said.

"We're not professional chefs but we love cooking at home and trying different dishes and experimenting. We're looking forward to sharing some of our dishes with guests at Relish Food and Wine Fest; especially using some of our local produce including delicious Hervey Bay Scallops."

Councillor for events Darren Everard urged people to purchase their tickets sooner rather than later to avoid disappointment.

"Dan and Steph are great ambassadors for the Fraser Coast and we're thrilled that they've come onboard with Relish Food and Wine Fest," he said.

"They've developed a huge following and are very excited to meet some of their biggest fans right here in their own backyard."

Relish Food and Wine Fest will showcase the best regional produce and products from across the region, as well as local cafes and restaurants, award-winning wines and gourmet food stalls.

"This event has the potential to grow into something really special and I think we're moving in the right direction."

Relish will be held on Saturday, June 8, from 11am - 5pm.
