IF YOU'VE always wanted a huge fibreglass hand but didn't know where to find one, you're in luck.
The Maryborough State High School monster garage sale will be held on Saturday and the giant hand is just one of many quirky items up for sale.
There's plenty of other bric-a-brac that will be sold as well and larger items, including a sail boat, a motorcycle, a quad bike and trailers, will be put up for tender.
Organiser Amanda Tatum said there would also be plenty of activities to keep kids entertained, including dancing, face-painting, a jumping castle, a merry-go-round and music.
Ms Tatum has been organising the event for six weeks.
The idea for the event, which starts at 7am, started when the school held a big clean-up day and decided to rid itself of unneeded items.
The idea snowballed from there.
The money raised by the garage sale will go towards helping the school keep up with the latest technology.
