Neighbourhood feud ends in Maryborough Magistrates Court

A NEIGHBOURHOOD feud was played out in the Maryborough Magistrates Court this week, with one of the parties pleading guilty to wilful damage.

Nicolas Bodine Berry was fined $350 and ordered to pay $15 restitution for snapping the windscreen wiper off a neighbour's car at a unit complex in Maryborough last July 31.

Defence counsel John Willett said Berry and the car's owner had been at loggerheads since an incident involving an elderly neighbour.
