Last Band Standing competition to start at Hervey Bay RSL

GET down to the Hervey Bay RSL on Friday night to check out some of the best musical talent the Fraser Coast has to offer in the Last Band Standing competition.

The event is a joint initiative between the Chronicle and the Hervey Bay RSL.

The winning group will claim $2000 in cash, a recording session supplied by Pacific International Music, three days recording with one day mixing, a guitar supplied by David's Ultra Music and two one-hour management consultancy appointments with J Music Management.

Heats will be held on April 12, April 19 and April 26 before the semi-finals on May 3.

The top two bands from each heat will go on to the semi-finals.

Doors will open at each event from 7pm before the competition begins at 8pm.
