Police probe 'wounding with sharp instrument' at Pialba

POLICE are investigating after a man was wounded in Pialba last night.

Two men were allegedly involved in an altercation at a unit on Main Street about 10.20pm.

A 20-year-old man sustained a number of small cuts after being struck on the back with a sharp object.

He was transported to Hervey Bay Hospital for medical treatment.

Inquiries into this incident are ongoing.
