A MOTORBIKE rider, who allegedly led police on a chase near Howard at the weekend, has been charged and his bike impounded.

The 34-year-old was riding around Pacific Haven when police attempted to pull him over.

He was later found and charged with evading police and driving an unregistered and uninsured motor vehicle.

The motorbike will remain in the impound yard for a mandatory 90 days.
