IF you see a police officer on the pushbike don't be surprised.

With the school holidays in full swing, you may see your local police patrolling on two wheels with the use of police pushbikes in Maryborough.

Officer in Charge of Maryborough Station Senior Sergeant Cole said it was a great opportunity to increase flexibility with patrols and have greater mobility across the region.

Police pushbike patrols will be out and about, particularly in the parklands and school grounds throughout the holidays and will continue on patrols.
