Police search for a naked man on the loose

POLICE are searching for a naked man that was spotted on the loose in the Point Vernon area at about 2pm this afternoon.

Hervey Bay Police Sergeant Paul Byrne said a woman was walking near Gataker's Landing Restaurant when the man approached her, but when she took out her mobile phone the man ran off.

He is described as about 18-years-old with fair skin and blonde shoulder length hair.
