UPDATE: Pregnant woman remains in hospital after dog attack

UPDATE 11.10am: The woman who suffered facial injuries in a dog attack in Howard on Thursday night remains in a stable condition in Hervey Bay Hospital. 

Hervey Bay Police Acting Sergeant Marshal Hoggard said police spoke with the victim at hospital following the attack.

Fraser Coast Regional Council are investigating. 

EARLIER: A HEAVILY pregnant woman was taken to hospital with facial injuries after a dog attack on Thursday night.

Paramedics were called to the property in Howard about 9.30pm.

Queensland Ambulance Service Wide Bay senior operations supervisor Michael Low said the woman, 20, was taken to Hervey Bay Hospital in a stable condition.
