Second man charged with arson after fire in Pialba shops

POLICE have charged a second man, 34, in relation to a fire which gutted A1 Auto, SportFirst and the Arts and Craft Superstore in June.

Hervey Bay CIB Detective Sergeant Mick Polit said the resident of Park Ridge in Brisbane was charged with three counts of arson and one count of fraud.

He said the man was due to appear at the Hervey Bay Magistrates Court on September 4.
