NOT every mum gets to be the one who weds their child to the love of their life.

But that was the case for Hervey Bay celebrant Christine Smith.

Christine said bringing her son Aaron and his wife Aimee together in holy matrimony was one of the most special moments in her life.

The couple was married at Antigua Hall on June 28 in the presence of family and friends and their beloved son, Benji.

The ceremony was originally going to take place in the garden of Aimee and Aaron's Mungar home, but heavy rain meant the couple had to move it to the hall.
