FORMER Australian bachelor Blake Garvey will be heading to Hervey Bay this Saturday to auction off a property in Dundowran.

The reality show star may be best known for breaking hearts, but is also a quick-talking real estate agent and auctioneer.

Blake and his partner Louise Pillidge will be travelling from Western Australia to Hervey Bay to auction lot 108 of the 170-lot Sanctuary Estate.

"I have a pretty good success rate for under the hammer - about 75%, and you have to be very motivated to sell that way," Blake said.

"Auctions are about marketing campaigns and are big endeavours, you want to attract as much attention to what you're selling, and we help with that."

The auction will begin at 10.30am and will run until midday at the estate. Property developer Russell Geldard said if the first lot sold quickly, other properties would be up for grabs.
