WATCH: Samantha Armytage caught readying herself on air

EARLY morning Sunrise viewers got a surprise sneak peek behind the scenes of the Channel 7 breakfast TV show on Monday morning.

Just before 6.30am, instead of a commercial appearing as the show went to a break, the network mistakenly broadcast footage, but no sound, of co-host Samantha Armytage getting ready to go on air.

The co-host is seen putting in her earpiece, having cream rubbed into her forearm and adjusting her clothes and hair before taking her seat.
