Police say 16 people involved in Wharf St fight

TWO men were arrested and issued with public nuisance infringement notices after throwing punches at each other at a Wharf St bar in Maryborough in the early hours of Saturday.

The two, aged 43 and 25, were part of a group that was told to leave the bar but as they left, they were allegedly involved in a physical altercation and a fight then broke out between 16 people.

Police allege they saw the two throwing punches.
