*spoilers ahead if you haven't seen season six, episode five*

PREVIEW: The Walking Dead can only get better after last week's pause.

While Now was arguably the weakest episode of the season there were still some major plot developments, the biggest of which was Maggie's (Lauren Cohan) revelation she was pregnant.

That fuelled her desire to find Glenn (Steven Yeun), who is still missing presumed dead. The last we saw of our long-term survivor he had ended up in the middle of a hungry horde thanks to Nicholas (Michael Traynor).

Now tended to focus on Deanna's (Tovah Feldshuh) leadership and crumbling mental state.

Which free-to-air network do you watch the most?

This poll ended on 25 November 2015.

WIN/Channel Nine - 10%

7 Local/Channel Seven - 31%

Southern Cross Ten/Channel 10 - 5%

ABC - 26%

SBS - 5%

Other - 21%

This is not a scientific poll. The results reflect only the opinions of those who chose to participate.

She hasn't been the same since the death of Reg in season five's finale, and she has shown signs of mental deterioration (losing her marbles) every week she's appeared.

Rcik (Andrew Lincoln) tried to help Deanna by saying she had to lead them, but her response ("They don't need me. What they need is you.") points towards his stepping up and taking over Alexandria.

Always Accountable may finally see a return to Daryl (Norman Reedus), Sasha (Sonequa Martin Green) and Abraham (Michael Cudlitz) who are still leading the superherd of walkers away from the town.

Last time we met the group Daryl appeared to leave before hearing Rick's struggles in the RV, and he rejoined Abraham and Sasha on the road.

TV spots indicate Daryl may be in some danger, but from whom we don't know. Wolves? Walkers? Another threat?

A few more things:

- Is Carl (Chandler Riggs) leaving to find Enid (Katelyn Nacon)? Ron (Austin Abrams) seems a dodgy young bloke, who asked Rick to teach him how to shoot last week. Ron doesn't like Carl or Rick; will he use his newfound skill?

- Denise (Merrit Wever) and Tara (Alanna Masterson) shared an intimate moment in town last week. Will that be explored in Always Accountable?

Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.

The Walking Dead airs Mondays at 12.30pm and 7.30pm (AEST) on FX (Channel 119).
