Woman taken to hospital after car v kangaroo crash

A WOMAN has been taken to Hervey Bay Hospital in a stable condition after a single vehicle crash involving a kangaroo on Pialba Burrum Heads Road. 

Queensland Ambulance Service were called to the crash around 8.30am.

The woman suffered shock and a 16-year-old and 44-year-old were not hurt as a result of the crash. 

Another QAS crew is currently on the scene of a two -vehicle crash on the same stretch of road.

A woman in her 30s is suffering a lower leg and arm injury.

A man believed to be in his 60s is also involved in the crash.
