DON'T be late for a very important date.

Unique Dance Studio will bring Alice in Wonderland to life on the stage tonight at Shalom College performing arts precinct in their end-of-year concert.

Based on the newer version of the movie, the concert will have all the main characters, including Alice, the Mad Hatter, White Rabbit, Red Queen, White Queen, Mouse, Caterpillar, Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum.

Coordinator Delise Lutz said it was a fantastic, exciting show for the family to enjoy.

"All the colourful costumes have the quirky feel from the movie version and the colour and great choreography brings out the best in the dancers," she said.

The costumes had all been made locally to support the Bundaberg economy, she said.

Ms Lutz said Unique Dance Studio principal Tammy Gill had been working with the dancers since the Easter holidays to prepare for the show.

Junior dancers will play flying baby rabbits; dolls and boys are the Red Queens guards.

All genres of dance are incorporated in the show with tap, jazz, ballet, Irish and contemporary being performed throughout the show.

A mixture of different age groups will perform together to present a Tea Party and various other scenes from the movie.

The concert starts at 7pm and tickets are available at the door.

Adults tickets cost $22, and $17 for students/pensioners.
