'It's war' over island dingo grid

They've been fighting it religiously but yesterday morning Happy Valley residents woke to the sound of machinery moving in to renew work on the controversial dingo grid.
One of Fraser Island's most outspoken residents, Bree Jashin, says the State Government's decision to close the beachfront access road to Happy Valley and work on the grid without the Fraser Coast Regional Council's permission was the final straw for infuriated residents.
"It's war," Ms Jashin said.
"It's absolute bloody war."
