SPANISH colours, music and dancing will be the highlight of Sunday, July 19, with the annual Jazz by the River in Maryborough.
Janet Reville, from the Maryborough Arts Council, is looking forward to the event and is expecting a large turnout.
About 60 people showed up for last year's French-themed event and Ms Reville thought more would tag along this year because it was being held in a larger space at the Brolga Theatre.
She encouraged everybody to dress in a Latin theme so they matched the Spanish inspired decorations.
There would also be a four-piece jazz group which included three local musicians.
Maryborough's Latin Dance Academy would also be performing on the day which runs from 2pm to 5pm.
Those going along are invited to pack a picnic lunch.
