THINGS are heating up for My Kitchen Rules, which whipped up season high ratings of 1.47 million on Monday.
The Seven Network program introduced five more couples to the competition and was the most watched show of the night.
After a slow start, the cooking show regularly outrates its Network Ten reality rival The Biggest Loser, which only attracted about 800,000 viewers for Sunday night's weigh in.
Ten failed to make a dent in the top ten most watched programs of Monday night, with Nine and Seven claiming five shows each.
Two And A Half Men was Nine's highest rated show at number three, with the 7.30 screening claiming 1.32 million.
The popular US comedy also came in at number nine, with an audience of 1.08 million watching the 7pm screening.
The Mentalist and Desperate Housewives both performed solidly, with ratings of 1.22 million and 1.08 million respectively.
