River Heads Barra and Salmon Classic.
STUCK for something to do this weekend? Head out to the first ever River Heads Barra and Salmon Classic?
Perfect conditions are predicted for the event and anglers can expect fishing to be top-class after a recent run of fresh pushed plenty of barramundi and threadfin into waters off River Heads.
Club president Bert Flierman reported a blinder at their monthly competition last weekend, with big salmon and huge barra taken - such as the one pictured.
He said the local system seemed to be firing up at just the right time.
Entry is cheap $15 for adults and $5 for juniors.
