A TEENAGE driver was lucky to walk away without injury after he crashed his car into a bus on Tuesday.
The 17-year-old was given a ticket for following too close after he rear-ended a Wide Bay Transit bus at Eli Waters about 3.30pm.
His Hyundai Getz was moderately damaged and had to be towed from the scene, but the bus received only minor damage.
Meanwhile, a 77-year-old man was taken to hospital with minor injuries after a two-vehicle crash at Tooth and Dover Sts earlier the same day.
Police are also searching for a hit-and-run driver who drove into a parked car at Urangan Central, damaged its bumper and drove off.
