2017 reflections

2017 kicked off with a trip Victoria;
Wines, antics and sightseeing created a kind of phantasmagoria;
And the tennis is always the cynosure;
As well as a drive in a limo with a chauffeur.

Some old friendships grew tighter;
The undertaking of my university studies became easier to decipher.
Cyclone Debbie caused a loss of power;
Rain came inside due to a very heavy shower.

Mountains were climbed on my birthday;
I worked hard on most school days.
Travelled to Western Australia in June;
Fish were caught and sunsets admired in Broome.

Led a humanitarian trip to Vietnam;
Goal for half marathon was slammed.
Went for a skydive over the coast;
Had I told mum, I would have been toast.

Finished the year as a brunette;
With a reflective and grateful mindset.
May 2018 bring you all much laughter and love;
And any resentment is let go of.
