Perfume pilferer charged

A MAN who stole a bottle of perfume from a Fraser Coast pharmacy has pleaded guilty in writing in the Maryborough Magistrates Court to shoplifting.

Andrew Thomas Wells shoved the bottle of perfume down his pants and walked out of the Maryborough store.

The court was told that Wells had a substantial criminal history.

Magistrate Neil Lavaring fined Wells $200 after receiving his guilty plea in writing.
