Digital Subscription: A new era of local news

TODAY we are launching a digital subscription model for the Fraser Coast Chronicle website.

It is the latest step the Chronicle has taken in leading the way, delivering up-to-the-minute news to our readers online, every single day.

Providing interactive news content for our readers across the Fraser Coast is a massive task and the Chronicle's investment in providing the news site is significant.

We have 17 reporters and photographers in the field gathering the latest in what's happening throughout your region.

There is a considerable cost in this.

But it is the only way we can keep you properly informed, tell your stories and make sure we give you the information you need, on a daily basis.

That means some readers will be asked to pay for some of the things they read.

No one will be blocked from going to the site and seeing crucial information if they don't want to pay.

The subscription is an amazing package of news and entertainment.
