A WOMAN who saw a motorcyclist hit by a car yesterday said she was also witness to a fatal crash at Pialba this month.

Sunshine Acres woman Danni Bramble was among the first at the scene of Ibis Blvd, Eli Waters, when a 73-year-old rider was struck by a car about 11.40am.

She believes the 61-year-old female driver failed to see the motorbike, which went under her silver Hyundai after it was struck.

"They weren't going very fast or anything," Ms Bramble said.

"The bike went under the car and she had to reverse off him."

The motorcyclist was taken to hospital with cuts to his legs and arms.

Ms Bramble said he'd likely broken some bones as well.

Another witness, 12-year-old Jordan Te-Wake said the elderly rider was awake and talking after the crash.

"He just wanted his helmet off," he said.

Jordan said the female driver seemed fine but appeared to be in shock.

Police said they were still investigating the crash, which saw traffic diverted for a short time.

Ms Bramble said she was also at the scene when 59-year-old Lyn Venning was killed in a two-vehicle crash on Boat Harbour Dr near Bunnings on April 13.

"The people that saw that jumped out and started making the cars go in other directions," Ms Bramble said.
