THE St Stephen's Hospital building site was targeted by thieves on the weekend.
About 26m of electrical cable worth about $1000 was stolen from the first and second floor of the unfinished hospital.
Hervey Bay police believe the theft happened between Friday at 4.30pm and 7am Monday morning.
