Adopt a friend for a life of fun

THE Maryborough and District Animal Refuge has dozens of pets available for purchase.

All animals are desexed and vaccinated, microchipped, registered (except cats) and up-to-date with flea and worm treatment.

One super special for Herald readers Lucy, a three year old female cat.

She is a beautiful girl who is affectionate and gets along with other cats as well Wolfie the dog.

Wolfie is a male Irish Wolfhound cross and is just one-year-old.

He is a sweet, gentle, goofy boy who came to the refuge after finding himself unclaimed in the pound.

He had an injury to his hind leg which required surgery, despite being in pain when initially coming in. He will always have a slight limp but he is no longer in pain and loves to do everything any other dog can do.

Wolfie is a sweet, gentle, goofy boy who is looking for a forever friend who will continue with his training.

Wolfie has always been kind, gentle and super friendly.

He loves to play with toys, get plenty of pats and do zoomies and show you how fast he can go.

He adores people and seems to love other dogs too, he isn't phased by cats and if unable to make friends with them he will steer clear of them.

He is friendly with every person he meets and has a wonderful happy outlook on life, you can't help but smile when around Wolfie.

Wolfie will require a home who will continue with his training and give him plenty of pats and cuddles.

It will cost $180 to have Lucy forever and $315 for Wolfie to be your best friend.
