Bail denied for man who allegedly robbed Aldi at knifepoint

A MAN who allegedly robbed the Pialba's Aldi store has been denied bail in Hervey Bay Magistrates Court on Friday.

Michael Robert Naylor's case has been adjourned until October 3.

On Thursday, police charged the 45-year-old Scarness man with armed robbery, alleging he entered the Aldi store, brandishing a butcher's knife, about 5.45pm on Wednesday.

Police allege he stole a large sum of money from two cashiers.
