Annette Mason murder solvable: Qld forensics boss
NEW evidence could hold the key to solving the brutal murder of Toowoomba teenager Annette Mason, ABC Online reports.
The 15-year-old's badly beaten body was found partly naked and concealed underneath a doona in her home in Anac Ave on November 19, 1989.
Retired Queensland forensics boss Inspector John Brand told ABC Online that new evidence makes the crime "solvable".
"We have significant information and that information involves forensic evidence and we now have additional forensic evidence that I believe will assist in solving this terrible murder," he said.
Mr Brand said finding Ms Mason's killer should be made a bigger priority.
