Crowds flock to Toogoom for Good Friday Easter Fair

CROWDS of holidaymakers and Fraser Coast residents have flocked to Toogoom for the Good Friday Easter Fair.

Dozens of people roamed the Toogoom Hall, checking out stalls filled with everything from craft and bric-a-brac to food and drinks.

Vice president of the Toogoom Community Association Des Bishop said every one was "happy as Larry" at the fair.

"It's a beautiful day," he said.

Des said he'd seen lots of goods being snapped up by savvy shoppers, including bags, cards, soap and tutus.

He said there was something for everyone, with a jumping castle and merry-go-round keeping the little ones entertained.

"There's everything here," he said.

"It's been going for quite a few years."
