Artist is looking to paint children with attitude

MARYBOROUGH artist Gina Davey is looking for Children with Attitude for her next exhibition at Gatakers Artspace in May next year.

The showcase is a continuation of her successful solo display Persons of Interest held in May this year, which included a portrait of Mayor Gerard O'Connell.

Gina is looking for subjects to sit for a photographic portrait which will then be used as a starting point for larger works on canvas which will be available for sale at the upcoming exhibition.

Anyone interested can contact Gina directly via her website, www.ginadavey.com, by phone on 4121 4286 or by phoning Gatakers Artspace on 4190 5723.

Gina will be demonstrating her painting and drawing technique at the next Gatakers by Night event on Saturday, August 24, from 5-9pm at Gatakers Artspace.

Gatakers by Night is held on the last full weekend of every month.
