THE event that books out Burrum Heads every Easter holidays didn't disappoint at the weekend as an influx of campers and anglers saw the fishing village's population more than double in size.

Families lined up their camp chairs to watch hundreds participate in the annual Burrum Heads Easter Fishing Classic which began at Lion's Park in the early morning and was still continuing with weigh-ins and prizes on Sunday night.

A full list of winners and super draw results will be published in Tuesday's Chronicle.
