Atzori prepares to go to war with Bradney

HERVEY Bay's Greg Atzori is prepared for the expected early onslaught that Jai Bradney will present when the two mixed martial artists battle in the cage at Logan Entertainment Centre on Saturday night.

Atzori, who holds a record of 11 wins and only two losses, said he is ready for a "war" against the Gold Coast lightweight.

"He's a bit of a fiery one," the 30-year-old said.

"I don't expect to walk out with no bumps or bruises.

"It's going to be a war."

The father-of-two is coming off four straight victories but Atzori said Bradney (14-7-1) would pose a completely new set of problems.

"The first few seconds and first minute everyone expects him to be explosive and strong," he said.

"He's got 10 TKOs so he can hit hard and that's something I haven't experienced much before.

"But we've developed a few game plans to combat when he comes hard."
