AUSTSWIM teacher wins national recognition

THE Maryborough Aquatic Centre is riding a wave of pride after being recognised by national organisation AUSTSWIM for the second year in a row.

Yesterday, swim teacher Kristy Brown was presented with the 2016 Queensland AUSTSWIM Teacher of Adults Award.

She was nominated for her excellence, commitment and innovation in the teaching of swimming and water safety.

Kristy is now a nominee for the National AUSTSWIM Aquatic Industry Awards, presented later this year.
