Bail for man on drugs charges

A MAN facing a series of drugs charges has had his case adjourned until July 5. 

Richard Alan Parkinson appeared before Maryborough Magistrates Court for mention on five charges on Tuesday. 

He was waiting to hear the outcome of an application for legal aid, duty lawyer Natasha Schumacher said. 

Mr Parkinson is facing five charges, including possessing pipes or utensils that had been used in association with drugs, possessing anything for use in the commission of a crime as well as possessing and producing dangerous drugs. 

He was allowed to remain on bail ahead of his court appearance in July.
