Bay woman has been helping fundraise for almost a decade

HERVEY Bay volunteer Barbara Smith will once again turn out in yellow for Daffodil Day later this month to help raise money for cancer research.

Mrs Smith has volunteered for almost a decade and will help run fundraising stalls across Hervey Bay shopping centres from August 21-24, with the official Daffodil Day held on August 23.

Mrs Smith also called for other people across the Fraser Coast to join in the fundraising events.
