WATCH: Bargara man in road-rage confrontation

AN ALLEGED Bargara drug-driver is in custody accused of chasing down and punching a woman's car on a busy Queensland highway after she took his keys.

The 51-year-old man had allegedly refused to give the woman his details after he rear-ended her vehicle in a slow-speed collision on the Bruce Hwy southbound at Caboolture, north of Brisbane, about 12.30pm on Wednesday.

The Courier Mail reports a nearby driver captured the man on camera allegedly chasing down the vehicle on foot in busy traffic after the woman took his keys.

The video shows the man allegedly holding onto the driver's door handle and punching the window twice before being forced to let go as the car speeds off into the emergency lane.

A drug test was carried out after the man was allegedly observed slurring his words and needles were found in his car.
