Be quick to vote for Fraser Coast's best Christmas display

A SHARE in about $1800 worth prizes is up for grabs for residents voted to have the most festively decorated home in the 2015 Christmas Light's competition.

About 23 homes in the Maryborough vicinity are lit up to dazzling effect with about 17 homes in Hervey Bay.

Voting ends 10pm this Monday night and residents are encouraged by the Fraser Coast Regional Council to cruise streets to choose the house which wins the vote.

The categories of Best Lights Display, Best Overall Lights and Display and Best First Time Display are still open for voting.

Winners will be announced this Thursday.
