A FORMER beauty queen accused of drug trafficking has not appeared in Hervey Bay Magistrates Court to face the charges. 

Felicia Djamirze is still in hospital recovering from injuries she received during a police raid on a Susan River home early last month.

Defence lawyer Trinity McGarvie, acting as town agent for Longton Legal, told the court Djamirze was in hospital in Sydney and was therefore unable to attend. 

Magistrate Graeme Tatnell adjourned the matter until April 14.
