Missing man's body found in bushland at Coolum

UPDATE 3PM: The body of a man who police believe to be Adrian Korst has been found in bushland near Lions Park at Coolum.

Coolum police officer-in-charge Senior Sergeant Hardy Wirth said the body was located from the air by the crew of a rescue helicopter about 11.30am.

Beerwah resident Mr Korst, 39, had been missing since Friday.

His cause of death is not being treated as suspicious.

EARLIER: Police are appealing for public assistance to help find a 39-year-old Beerwah man last seen on David Low Way at Coolum on Friday.

Adrian Korst was last seen at about noon when he checked into a Coolum resort.

Concerns are held for his welfare as he has not been in contact with family or friends since.

He is described as Caucasian, 175cm tall with a fair complexion, blue eyes and short brown hair.

Mr Korst was last seen wearing khaki coloured knee-length shorts and white sneakers.
