Bombers and Bay Power start their AFL campaigns

BAY Power and Hervey Bay Bombers will carry Fraser Coast's hopes into the first round of the Queensland Football Association Wide Bay/Sunshine Coast today.

It will be the first week of the newly-created format, in which four Wide Bay clubs compete against three from the former Sunshine Coast competition.

The Bombers travel to Gympie's Six Mile Oval for their 2pm game while the Power will host Maroochydore Roos at Keith Dunne Oval from 3pm.
