HE ONLY hit three boundaries but Jason Bosshart helped fire Australs Gold to victory over Cavaliers Black.

Bosshart came in at number four and scored 34 runs, which not only steadied Australs Gold's innings but also provided his side's tail end a solid platform from which to set a high total.

Mitch Manski came in at number seven and top-scored with 38 as Cavaliers' bowlers had a horrid day.

Cavaliers' bowlers were responsible for 46 extras, 38 of which were wides.

After Australs set 8-264, Glenn Rice picked up four wickets and Bosshart three to restrict Cavaliers to 117.

Dan Ovington provided the only resistance in his knock of 60.

It was Australs Gold's second consecutive win after they smashed Bushrangers Blue by 112 runs last week.

Cavaliers Gold ensured the club notched one win on the weekend after their 34-run win over Bay Power Teal.

Australs Green set a competitive 183 against Brothers Shamrocks, but Steve Riggs hammered 83 to power Brothers to an eight-wicket win.

Bushrangers Gold opener Jason Riley scored 74 runs to lay the foundation for his side's 8-219 against Craignish, who fell just 18 runs short in the chase.

Past Grammars beat Tinana and Mary River Mulelts beat Bushrangers Blue by forfeit.
