Bowled over by Whale of a Carnival

BOWLERS from across the state had a whale of a time at Urangan Bowls Club this week.

With $2000 in total prize money, more than 120 bowlers took to the greens for the annual Whale of a Carnival.

The Burrum Heads team, skipped by Kay Webster, took all five games and edged out the Urangan team, led by Jan Chrak, by a small margin.
