Evacuations after gas line ruptures in M'boro

EMERGENCY services crews are at the scene of a gas line leak in Maryborough.

A spokeswoman for Queensland Fire and Emergency Services said a gas line had ruptured and evacuations had been carried out at Walker St.

The leak is near the Brolga Theatre.

The spokeswoman said one crew was on scene for the incident, which was reported about 8.40am on Friday.
