Teen's funeral to be held Friday

A FUNERAL service for Hervey Bay teenager Brittney Rose will be held this Friday.

The 17-year-old lost her life in a Brisbane Hospital last week, three days after crashing into a power pole on Boundary Road.

The service will be held at 11am at the Hervey Bay Crematorium on Urraween Road.

Yesterday a Facebook page created in honour of Brittney was flooded with messages from friends, loved ones and those who never knew her but had been touched by the tragedy.

More than 800 people had joined the site which is believed to have been set up by Brittney's mum, Robyn Kelley.

On Sunday Ms Kelley posted a comment on the page thanking friends and family for their support.
