Brothers clean up at Bundaberg Masters

Maryborough brothers Jake and Alec Braund both came home with trophies after playing in the Bundaberg juniour masters tennis tournament on the weekend.

Jake, along with his partner Jayden Court from Eidsvold, won the under 13 boys doubles championship.

They won the final convincingly 9-0.

Alec started his 2013 central Queensland junior masters season in sizzling form.

He did not drop any matches on his way to winning both the U10 boys singles and doubles championships.

Next on the agenda for both of the boys will be the Hervey Bay juniour masters tournament at the end of July, but before then Alec will be playing in the 2103 Rod Laver Qld junior championships in Brisbane during the June-July school holidays.
