Bruce Highway reopened after six car crash

UPDATE 3.30PM: POLICE have reopened the Bruce Highway following a six-car crash south of Tiaro.

No one was seriously injured in the crash but two people were taken to hospital with minor injuries.

Police are investigating the cause of the crash.

EARLIER: THE BRUCE Highway is closed in both directions after a six-car crash south of Tiaro.

Emergency crews were called just before 2pm to the crash between Bauple and Tiaro.

Police closed the highway at about 2pm.

Paramedics have transported two people to Hervey Bay Hospital with minor injuries.
